Dr. Brinda Gurbuxani has a teaching experience of 8 plus years at graduate and post-graduate level in subjects like Constitutional & Administrative Law, Jurisprudence, Women & Law, Interpretation of Statutes, Family Laws, Contract, Alternate Dispute Resolution, Law of Evidence, Judicial Process, Human Rights, Banking & Insurance Laws, Corporate Laws, Criminal Law Administration, Penology, Moot Court Training & Drafting and Pleading. She has 12 years of Advocacy practice at Bombay High Court and professional experience with Mulla & Mulla. A Commerce Graduate with First Class from SVKM’s Mithibai College, LL.B. from Jitendra Chauhan College of Law Mumbai, LL.M. in Constitutional & Administrative Law with merit from University of Mumbai, Ph.D. in Law from Shri JJTU, Churela, and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from Welingkar’s Institute of Management, Mumbai. She has completed certificate courses from Indian School of Business. She has been a Part-time Professor in Government Law College and Coordinator for Post-Graduate Diploma Course in Intellectual Property Rights. She has also been a visiting faculty in Law Colleges in Mumbai i.e. HSNC Board’s G. J. Advani Law College, SVKM’s JCCL, Siddharth College of Law as faculty of PGD in Labour laws.

She has participated in various National & International conferences and presented 18 research papers. Five of her papers have been published in conference proceedings at international and national level. She has three publications in UGC CARE listed, indexed and peer reviewed Journals and seven book chapters. She has been a Key- note Speaker at a two day Online International Conference (Multidisciplinary) on “Digital Innovation and its Impact on Human Rights”, organised by Shri JJTU held in April, 2023.

She is Secretary & Faculty in charge of Research & Development Club at K. C. Law College w.e.f. Jan 2023. She is also a part of the Research & Development Cell.

She has been awarded the Best Poster Award in the Virtual international poster conference on COVID19: Impact and Responses, 2020. She has received felicitation from International Institute of Sports Management (IISM) for being an omnipresent guiding light. She has secured second prize in the Constitutional Quiz Competition at National level and second prize in Moot Court Competition at the Law Tryst of Jitendra Chauhan College of Law 2010 at National level. As a student she has participated and been active in various activities and competitions.

Ms. Sabiha Ishaq Badra is a full time faculty in the College. She has a M.Com. degree in Banking and Finance. She completed her LL.M. degree in Environmental Laws and M.Phil. from Law Department, University of Mumbai. She also has a PG Diploma in International Law and Human Rights from National Institute of Human Rights.

She teaches various subjects like Constitutional Law, Banking Laws, Copyright Law, Environmental Laws, Mercantile Laws, Family Laws, Taxation Laws and Jurisprudence. She has continued Chamber practice at Legal India. She also is a visiting faculty for Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Securities Law and also for LL.M. in Business Laws at the Law Department, University of Mumbai.

Her 12 years teaching experience has made a positive impact and she believes herself to be a catalyst in making students realize the importance of their time and determination to succeed by their own efforts as it is not luck which decides our future but our own investment in own self by continuously being a keen learner.

Ms. Aarti Shah is a Commerce graduate. After her B.Com. degree she became an Advocate. Later on she did post-graduation in Law and got LL.M. degree with specialization in Intellectual Property Laws. She joined K. C. Law College as a full time faculty in the year 2022.

She was practicing advocacy since the year 2018. She has been teaching Graduate students of Law since the last 05 years at various Law Colleges and was a visiting faculty at K. C. Law College. She also takes lectures for PG Diploma course in IPR at Siddharth Law College, Churchgate.

She takes friendly approach to teaching and imparting legal knowledge. She finds this approach helpful in breaking the traditional barriers like “them” and “us” between students and their tutors.

Ms. Mayuri Ramchandra Taware has completed her B.B.A.LL.B. from SNDT University, LL.M. from MNLU Mumbai and is pursuing Ph.D. degree. She has also completed Diploma in Cyber Law and cleared the UGC-SET (Law). She has research publications in reputed journals on topics such as marine insurance, data fiduciaries and data protection, climate change and wildlife, compulsory licensing in pharma, hazardous waste, space debris, and vote-bank politics under the RPA, 1951, along with several paper presentations at national and international conferences. She has published a chapter in the book titled ‘Digital Arrest Balancing Law Enforcement and Privacy’. She also has moot court and debating achievements to her credit.
