Moot Court

Moot Court Activity

The Moot Court as an extracurricular activity offers many interesting insights to the participating teams and greatly benefits students. Participation in the moot improves not only improves legal linguistic and inter-personal skills, but also offers a platform from which to establish contacts with legal luminaries. Participants are trained in important techniques and skills needed in profession. It also provides opportunity to build friendships and cultural exchanges.

The National Moot Court Competition – 2011 hosted by K.C. Law College, was inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri justice V.S. Sirpurkar, Judge, Supreme Court of India, in the presence of Hon’ble judges of High Court, with participation of highly competitive teams with panel of sitting judges of High court.

Moot Court Association

The MCA enables students to use their personality, character, passion, and fire, to participate in an activity which allows students to do things that people would expect lawyers to do. This is because the Moot Court Association is focused on two forms of communication that are essential whether you are dealing with clients, colleagues, or courts of any level: writing and oral advocacy
The Association also has its own website www.kclawmca.com
